Job summary

Kronospan in Alabama is seeking a Flooring Helper to support continuous production on the flooring line. You will operate equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed to keep up-time high.

This entry-level role requires strong communication, teamwork, and mechanical aptitude. It offers a rotating shift in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Job Description

The primary purpose of the Flooring Helper's position is to perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to the safe, efficient operation of the flooring manufacturing equipment and associated equipment. The helper will be required to perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility, may be required to understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the flooring line and associated equipment, and will also identify conditions which may lead to substandard quality or up-time and initiate the proper corrective action. Further duties may include assisting operators and maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.
