Oakline Floors in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Flooring Estimator to produce accurate bid packages across hardwood, tile, LVT/LVP, carpet, laminate, and engineered wood. You own numbers from initial desk review through bid submission and award, ensuring margins are protected and the project team is set up for success.

This focused estimating role works with sales, purchasing, and design center; you will not manage projects post-award, but will refine estimates, manage a bid pipeline, and ensure

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of estimating experience in flooring, tile, or a closely related interior finish trade.
• Demonstrated product knowledge across hardwood, tile, LVT/LVP, carpet, laminate, and engineered wood — including installation methods and material specs.
• Proficiency in digital takeoff software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills — you build and manage your own pricing templates.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction documents, and finish schedules accurately.
• Proven track record of managing a high-volume bid pipeline and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Valid Texas driver's license — occasional site visits are required.

Responsibilities

• Takeoffs and material quantification from plans and specs.
• Price labor by product type and installation complexity using current crew rates.
• Assemble complete bid packages broken out by product category, labor, and scope.
• Build and maintain a live cost database reflecting material, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
• Review specifications and drawings for scope ambiguity and price accordingly.
• Manage a pipeline of active bids and meet submission deadlines.
