Cutting Edge Flooring Services is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Flooring and Design Consultant to join our expanding team in West Chester, OH. In this client-facing sales role, you'll guide customers through our showroom, help them select flooring options that suit their needs, and ensure a seamless purchasing experience. Your expertise in sales, combined with exceptional communication and administrative skills, will help transform clients' visions into beautiful, finished projects. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Provide expert sales assistance to customers in the showroom, recommending flooring options and upgrades to meet their needs.
• Support daily store operations with administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service from initial contact through project completion, building long-term client relationships.
• Assist in showroom maintenance and presentation to create a welcoming, professional environment.
• Cross-train to support phone coverage and other store duties as needed.
• Stay current on flooring products and trends to effectively advise customers and increase sales opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven background in sales, preferably in a retail or design-related environment.
• Strong administrative and clerical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Energetic, self-starter attitude with the ability to proactively engage customers and drive sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Willingness to learn flooring products and processes—industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, or other people-facing roles paired with sales ability will be considered.
