Job Summary

• Assist in all physical lifting and moving tasks, including lifting up to 150 lbs while servicing rigging equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the rigging, drilling floor, and equipment through regular sweeping, shoveling, painting, and washing.
• Support rig operations by using rope, slips, and tongs to secure or break pipe sections, and by assisting in rig-up/down, nipple up/down, and blowout prevention.
• Conduct routine checks of rigs, drilling lines, and safety equipment for any issues or hazards.
• Assist in attaching/detaching lines and handling fire suppression and depressurization lines.
• Help maintain equipment levels, check pipe in motion, and support the MOTORHAND and derrickhand with pumps and other machinery.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and inspect safety gear regularly.
• Operate in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to moving machinery, loud equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
• Support team and supervise crew during maintenance, including carrying heavy items, rotating shifts, and training as required.
• Perform additional duties as directed that fall outside the job description.

Job Requirements

• Stand and walk continuously for 3.5–12 hours without assistance, wearing steel-toed boots.
• Lift and carry 50 lbs independently, including on uneven surfaces.
• Comfortable working at heights of 50 ft or more.
• Stay alert and focused up to 12.5 hours while performing repetitive tasks.
• Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and lifting beyond the normal shift load.
• Prior experience (or ability) in heavy‑duty operations, including equipment with large tools and long‑haul trucks.
• Ability to work in close proximity to live wires, high voltages, and open extinguishing platforms.
• Regardless of insurance coverage, acknowledge that operating at high tide and high temperatures may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of stable work history.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) months of stable, related work history (e.g., farming, ranching, construction, heavy equipment, or other trade) or military service.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Additional Details

Position requires working in all weather conditions, including cold, heat, high wind, and typical seasonal hazards. The individual will be exposed to conditions located in the operational area, with potential travel to remote sites and rotational schedules. Pay and benefits will be discussed based on experience.
