Job summary

AKITA Drilling is seeking Floorhands for drilling operations in Oregon. You will help with day-to-day rig activities, maintenance, cleaning and equipment operation under the supervision of senior rig personnel.

The role requires reliability, safety consciousness and the ability to work extended rotations outdoors in varying weather. Ideal candidates are prepared for 14/14 or 20/10 shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow instructions in English.
• Ability to stay alert and attentive for up to 12+ hours a day.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Willingness to work 14 days on/14 days off and/or 20 on/10 off, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day rig activities, including maintenance, cleaning, and equipment operation under supervision.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; comprehend and follow instructions in English
• Ability to stay alert and attentive for up to 12 or more hours a day
• Ability to wear required PPE (steel toed boots, safety glasses, hard hat, work gloves, chemical apron and gloves, approved respiratory device, face shield, goggles, protective hearing devices, safety harness)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to hot, cold, wet, or damp environments
• Reliable transportation and punctuality to assigned worksite
• Ability to work 14 days on/14 days off and/or 20 on/10 off, including holidays, weekends, and nights
