Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in floor cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of various flooring materials and specific cleaning requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

  • Floor Cleaning & Maintenance: sweep, mop, buff, and polish floors to keep them clean and well-maintained.
  • Floor Equipment Operation: operate buffers, scrubbers, and polishers; report issues.
  • Restoration & Repair: assist with floor restoration, stain removal, and minor damage repair.
  • High-Quality Standards: ensure floors meet cleanliness and safety standards per protocols.
  • Safety & Compliance: follow proper procedures for hazardous materials and use cleaning chemicals safely.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6 am - 6:30 pm.
  • Pay: $20/hour
  • Location: Jackson, TN
What You'll Do:

As a Floor Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors across various types of spaces, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and in optimal condition. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Floor Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform regular floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing floors to keep them clean and well-maintained.
  • Floor Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and polishers. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues.
  • Restoration & Repair: Assist with floor restoration and repairs, including spot cleaning, removing stains, and addressing minor damage to flooring materials.
  • High-Quality Standards: Ensure floors meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Follow detailed cleaning protocols for different types of flooring (e.g., tile, carpet, wood, etc.).
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe working conditions by using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to safety standards, and following proper procedures for hazardous materials.
