Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe living areas for residents. The role focuses on cleaning carpeted and hardwood floors, scrubbing, polishing, waxing, and routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrub, polish and wax floors of all types.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces per cleaning protocols.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens per infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.
