Job summary

Red River Sanitors is seeking a Part Time Floor Tech in Shreveport, LA to professionally clean offices, hallways and common areas. You will move furniture, mop and strip/wax floors, and operate floor equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Excellent attendance and punctuality are expected, with a focus on meeting scheduled hours. The role offers on-site work, a friendly team, and opportunities for growth within a local company.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Operating floor equipment including extractors and buffing machines.
• Using hand and power tools such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, mops, floor strippers.
• Inspecting floors for damage and carrying out minor repairs.
• Measuring chemicals correctly and operating dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Maintaining and storing equipment and PPE.
• Keeping inventory of floor areas and scheduling cleaning duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

Floor Tech Responsibilities:

• Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas.
• Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
