Compass Group USA is seeking a part-time Floor Technician at Ascension St Vincent Salem Hospital in Salem, IN. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with evenings included in the schedule.

The position requires prior floor-care experience and knowledge of safety procedures, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
