ESFM Floor Technician Job Description

We have an opening for a part-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position at our Jackson, TN location. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: At least one year of previous floor technician experience.

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining, restoring, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Use automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience as a floor care technician or in a related role
• Required: Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
