Job summary

St. Moritz Building services is seeking a Floor Technician - Janitorial in Athens, GA. The role involves maintaining building interiors, cleaning and restocking restrooms, and ensuring a clean, safe environment across shift changes.

This part-time position offers 1st and 2nd shifts, with internal promotion opportunities and a strong emphasis on employee development. A background check is required and done on site, with a good MVR being a condition to be considered for these positions.

Responsibilities

• Dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures; washing windows and walls; sweeping, wiping blinds and carpets; restocking restrooms; replacing light bulbs.
• Remove trash from receptacles and dispose or recycle as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment by following manufacturer guidelines and completing basic repairs or part replacements.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Document cleaning actions and note areas needing extra care during shift changes.

As a part of our professional cleaning team you would be servicing clients in the following ways :

• Maintaining building interior by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; washing windows, counters, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; sweeping, wiping blinds, furniture, and carpeting; resupplying restrooms; replacing light bulbs.
• Maintaining building accessibility and appearance by picking up papers and trash
• Removing trash from receptacles to the disposal or recycling areas
• Keeping cleaning equipment operational by following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines; completing operator repairs and parts replacement.
• Maintaining safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintaining continuity between shifts by documenting cleaning actions; noting areas requiring additional care or monitoring
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
