Responsibilities

Under the Facilities Shift Supervisor, install, repair, and maintain carpet and tile in all areas of the facility. Duties include:

  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Applying and repairing carpets and tiles on walls, floors, ceilings, and roof decks.
  • Inspecting and developing repair lists for all carpeted areas and public spaces.
  • Measuring, cutting, and installing flooring materials using appropriate tools.
  • Monitoring surfaces for defects and reporting issues.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, managing supplies inventory.
  • Coordinating with departments to schedule work with minimal disruption.
  • Estimating material costs and labor hours, maintaining project records.
  • Reading blueprints, measuring, and marking surfaces for installation.
  • Promoting positive relations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High School diploma or trade school certificate plus at least three years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.

Work Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to a busy, noisy casino environment, including secondhand smoke and public interactions.
  • Effective communication in English is required.
