Job summary

Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor care duties safely and efficiently. The role requires learning all aspects of floor care and delivering quality service to customers daily.

Candidates should have at least one year of floor care experience or complete the internal certification within 90 days, and be able to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, while meeting screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in floor care or pass the GCE Floor Care Certification Training within the first 90 days.
• Must be able to follow multi-step directions.
• Must be able to interact appropriately with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Must be able to work multiple shifts to include weekends and overtime (OT).
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

The Floor Technician

The Floor Technician is responsible for safely performing floor care duties as assigned by management. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to this position.

Role Requirements

• Experience:
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in floor care or pass the GCE Floor Care Certification Training within the first 90 days.
• Must be able to follow multi-step directions.

• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. Will work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary; will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
