Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring a Floor Technician in Jasper County, Ridgeland, SC, to maintain and restore hard floors and operate industrial floor care equipment. The role is full-time with a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm schedule; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and refinishing procedures.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning tasks.
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by manager.
