Job summary

Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation in New Concord, Ohio is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety across the community. The role supports residents, staff, and visitors by ensuring floors are well cared for and hygienic.

Starting pay is $12.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, five 7.5 hour shifts. Benefits after a short waiting period include health, dental, vision coverage, retirement match, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floor care or custodial services preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and buffing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ensure all areas are clean and safe for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with custodial duties as needed to support overall facility hygiene.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
• Maintain equipment used for floor care and report any malfunctions.

As a Floor Technician at Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community. Located in New Concord Ohio, this position is essential to ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our residents and their families.

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior floor care experience or general housekeeping experience. This role is vital to the overall look and feel of our community and is responsible for creating a great first impression to staff, residents, families and visitors.

Starting pay rate for the position is $12.50 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is five(5) 7.5 hour shifts a week 7a-3p Monday thru Friday. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.
