Job Description: Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Floor Technician positions at Crothall Healthcare.

Location: Ochsner Westbank - 2500 Belle Chasse Highway, Gretna, LA 70056. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time, five days a week. Hours and days may vary, including rotating weekends. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous floor technician experience preferred. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Conduct restorative processes for all floor types.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preferred previous experience as a floor care technician or in related roles.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
