• We are hiring immediately for full-time Floor Technician positions.
• Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; shifts vary. Second shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Third shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior floor technician experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred prior experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
