Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division is hiring a Floor Technician in Shepherdsville, KY. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment as part of the facilities management team.

Full-time schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with no prior experience required and training provided. Competitive hourly pay and a full benefits offering accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces
• Cleans carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Pay Range: $15.00per hour to$16.50per hour

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
