Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Floor Technician at 172 Trade Street, Lexington, KY 40511 to maintain and restore hard floors and operate industrial floor care equipment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 4:00 am–12:30 pm, requiring at least 2 years of floor-care experience and a commitment to following safety procedures in a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
