Job summary

ESFM, the Facilities Management arm of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Floor Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

You will perform stripping, waxing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and floor refinishing, with duties including carpet care and general maintenance. A minimum of 1 year in floor care is preferred, with lifting up to 50 lbs common.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

We have an opening for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

Location: RTX - 11120 South Norwalk Boulevard, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Sunday-Thursday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: At least 1 year of floor tech experience; stripping and waxing preferred.

Pay Range: $21.00per hour to$21.50per hour
