Crothall Healthcare's Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN is hiring a full-time Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment at the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of floor care techniques, follow safety procedures, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; duties include stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Must perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Apply carpet and upholstery cleaning procedures, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. This full‑time position is located at Sycamore Shoals Hospital, 1501 West Elk Avenue, Elizabethton, TN 37643. The schedule is full‑time with variable hours. Fixed pay rate is $13.00 per hour.
