Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician in El Paso, TX for a full-time shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience is preferred; willingness to train is noted in the benefits.

The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Location is at The Hospital of Providence Memorial Campus with online applications accepted.

Qualifications

• Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance/restorative processes for all floor surface types.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface typesi>
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
