Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician for Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix. This full-time night shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00 pm–7:30 am) focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Qualifications include prior floor care experience and knowledge of floor care techniques, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Fixed pay rate is $16.85 per hour. Join a team committed to safety, quality, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance knowledge and procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
