Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Floor Technician for full-time work at 8000 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep facilities clean and safe. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and safety practices is required.

Lifting up to 50 lbs is expected. Schedule includes multiple shifts: Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday, with early morning to late evening options. Prior floor tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing and extraction.
• Complete maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Schedule: Full time schedules; Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, or 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am, or Sunday - Wednesday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am. More details upon interview.

• Requirement : One year of prior floor tech experience is preferred.

• Fixed Pay Rate : $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
