Job summary

ESFM is hiring a Floor Technician in Caledonia, MI to maintain and restore hard floors and operate industrial floor care equipment. This full-time role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with days/hours varying.

Responsibilities include stripping, refinishing, burnishing, cleaning large floor areas, and applying carpet cleaning where needed, with comprehensive safety procedures followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance and proper stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing and extraction.
• Maintain and restore all floor surface types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

• We have an opening for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: 4500 68th Street, Caledonia, MI 49316 Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Floor care and Hilo experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
