Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.

Location: Ascension St. Vincent Anderson - 2015 Jackson Street, Anderson, IN 46016. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Hours and days may vary. 2nd or 3rd shift available. Further details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous 2 years of floorcare experience is preferred.

Perks: Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
