Job summary

SSC Services For Education, operating Moore Public Schools, is seeking a Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

The role is full-time with a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule; experience in floor care is required. Applications are accepted online, and there may be openings at other district locations within Moore, OK.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role is preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
