Job Description

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment in assigned location(s). Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Long Description

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $17.25. This is Aramark’s estimated offer based on current conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Respond to customer needs proactively.
• Perform hard floor care procedures such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing, adhering to surface maintenance principles.
• Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment as scheduled.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Properly process waste including municipal solid waste, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and soiled linens; disinfect receptacles and carts as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control standards and procedures.
• Adhere to appearance standards and wear required uniforms and PPE.
