Forefront is currently seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN (as needed) Floor Technicians to join our environmental services team supporting a critical access hospital in Big Timber, MT. Big Timber is a vibrant small town, an hour from Bozeman and Billings, located in a beautiful valley along the Yellowstone River, between three mountain ranges, just north of Yellowstone National Park.

Pay Range: $16.00-$20.00

Performs daily cleaning of facility floors to ensure an attractive, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains attractive and clean floors by sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, stripping and refinishing, and burnishing floors regularly.
• Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Performs floor cleaning in lobbies, dining rooms, waiting rooms, activity areas, and other assigned areas.
• Monitors inventory of floor supplies.
• Reports repairs needed to floor equipment to supervisor.
• Cleans all types of blood and body fluids as directed.
• Cleans equipment and work areas as assigned by the Manager.
• Participates in activities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Knows and follows federal, state, and facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Attends in-service educational programs.
• Follows safety codes during all duties.
• Understands and follows fire and disaster plans during drills and emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping/EVS department.

This position requires lifting up to 40 pounds. The work involves moving throughout the facility, including resident rooms, with frequent bending, lifting, sitting, standing, and moving. It may involve dealing with odors, falls, burns, and exposure to infectious diseases, waste, blood, and body fluids.

Physical Demands:

Continuous standing and walking; reaching, stooping, bending, lifting, carrying. Ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents. Must be free from infection or disease. Must lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Hourly position with days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Required Education and Experience:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; at least one year of housekeeping experience in healthcare preferred.
