Responsibilities

As a Floor Technician, you will help maintain the cleanliness of the CDC Clifton Road location, the leading national public health institute of the United States. Your duties will include:

• Removing wax build-up from floors
• Stripping, scrubbing, and refinishing floor surfaces
• Cleaning ceramic tiles and walls
• Removing spots from carpets and upholstery
• Extracting dirt from carpets and upholstery
• Dust mopping, damp mopping, and burnishing floors
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Following safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining a safe environment for all

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge or experience in floor care preferred
• Availability for shift work
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others

Location: CDC Clifton, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329

Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
