Job summary

Christopher Newport University is looking for a Floor Technician I to maintain the floors of student housing and other facilities. You will use standard floor maintenance equipment and supplies to keep areas clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents and staff.

The role is full-time and non-exempt, with a wage range aligned to education and experience. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, plus prior floor care experience.

The Housing Department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.

Purpose of the Position:

This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.
