Job summary

Maple Park Village is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain floors and related spaces, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors. The role may include laundry duties as needed and requires a commitment to CARE values.

Candidates with prior maintenance experience and basic knowledge of electrical, heating and cooling are preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required, or equivalent experience.

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide floor cleaning and maintenance services to promote a safe, sanitary and homelike environment.
  • Support residents and staff by maintaining clean, orderly floors and spaces.
  • May require laundry work as needed.

The Floor Technician provides floor cleaning and maintenance services promoting a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Requirements

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
