Job summary

American Village in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor cleaning and maintenance, promoting a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have stamina and teamwork, with knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems considered helpful; a high school diploma or GED is required, and prior maintenance experience is preferred. This is a full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Floor Technician Opportunity at American Village

The Floor Technician provides floor cleaning and maintenance services promoting a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Skills Needed:

Requirements:

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, RelationshipsandExcellence
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
