The Grand Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our team. The role focuses on stripping and waxing floors, buffing, and maintaining hallways, dining rooms, and other areas of the facility. Weekend availability may be required to support residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervision under the Director of Maintenance to ensure tasks are completed.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our team! If you have general knowledge of stripping and waxing commercial floors and a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you. Main focus for the position will be maintaining the facility floors including hallways, dining rooms and all other areas affiliated with the building. Must be willing to work weekends if need.

Rate of pay is between $19 to $20 an hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Stripping and waxing floors as well as buffing them regularly.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
• Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work around the needs of the residents of the facility.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
