Job summary

Bellhaven Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in New York seeks a Floor Technician to maintain clean, sanitary floors across the facility. The role requires knowledge of floor machines and prior floor care experience; you will operate scrubbing and refinishing equipment and work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate has experience with cleaning chemicals and floor care maintenance, and is committed to delivering a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must have prior floor care experience.
• Knowledge of floor chemicals and cleaners required.
• Experience operating floor maintenance equipment is a plus.

Floor Tecnician:

• Responsibilities: The Floor Care Technician maintains a clean, sanitary environment. The Floor Care Technician strips, scrubs, sweeps, refinishes, and buffs all floor areas of the center, utilizing the proper equipment and procedures. They vacuum and spot clean all carpets throughout the center, and work effectively among patients, family members, and external and internal customers in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Previous floor care experience ,as well as, knowledge of chemicals, cleaners, application practices and maintenance of floor care equipment and supplies.
