Job summary

Southland Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean environment for patients. You will dust, sweep, mop, and sanitize rooms, corridors, and common areas, while following safety guidelines and reporting repairs as needed.

Strong communication, reliability, and a friendly, professional demeanor are essential. The position offers weekly pay and a benefits package within a mission-driven healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors as scheduled.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
