Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Floor Tech for the Environmental Services Department at the Ontario location. You will perform floor care (scrubbing, stripping, refinishing) across hospital facilities and physician clinics, and assist with cleaning rooms after urgent procedures.

The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and may require work during evenings or overnight hours; benefits and growth opportunities are provided by Avita.

Qualifications

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, including top scrubs, stripping and refinishing floors across facilities and clinics as directed by EVS management.
• Clean rooms after C-sections or emergency surgeries, including late evening and early morning hours.
• Undertake other environmental services tasks as assigned by EVS supervisors.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services Department at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Performs floor care, top scrubs and or strips and refinishes all floors in the organization including physician clinics with some being off main campuses, as requested by the EVS manager and the EVS Supervisor. Cleans rooms after C-Sections and or emergency surgeries that may occur in the late evening and early morning hours. Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
