Job summary

Report safety hazards and stop at-risk behaviors

Job description

Safely perform assigned floor care functions according to standards, procedures, and regulations
Perform environmental services and contractual custodial duties as needed
Wax, strip, buff, clean, and maintain tile, carpet, and brick floors
Operate and maintain motorized cleaning equipment safely and correctly
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas and keep work areas clean
Use appropriate chemicals, supplies, safety signs, and personal protective equipment
Complete work assignments and punch-list items in a timely manner
Fill in during staff shortages in custodial, recycling, or maintenance functions
Report safety hazards and stop at-risk behaviors
Work with employees, supervisors, managers, leads, co-workers, and customers professionally

Requirements

No education requirement
6 months–1 year of experience preferred
