Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS CLEVELAND MEDICAL CENTER. You’ll perform high-quality floor cleaning to maintain a safe, healthy environment, with varying shifts and a full-time schedule.

Ideal candidates have around a year of related experience, familiarity with floor care equipment, and a commitment to reliability and teamwork. Benefits and site-specific details are provided during interview.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred
• Ability to work varying shifts and maintain cleanliness standards

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors with heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties as assigned based on client needs.

Floor Technician

Location: UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS CLEVELAND MEDICAL CENTER - 10261005

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18 - $23.50

What You’ll Do: As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
