Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at SCHWAB REHABILITATION HOSPITAL in Chicago. You will deliver high-quality floor care and surface cleaning to create a safe, healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff, following site procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and flooring maintenance.
• Able to work in a team and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors with heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and differ among accounts.

Workdays/shifts: Mornings - varying days, and rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay Range: $20.85 - $20.85

What You’ll Do:

As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you are a hygiene hero and planet protector. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces
