Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus, Ohio, seeks a dedicated Floor Tech to join the Environmental Services Department. You will perform floor care, top scrubs, strips, and refinishes across hospital floors and physician clinics as requested by EVS leadership.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms after C-sections or emergency surgeries in late evening or early morning hours and performing other EVS duties. A valid Ohio driver’s license is required; preferred candidates have a high school diploma or

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Overview

Performs floor care, top scrubs and or strips and refinishes all floors in the organization including physician clinics with some being off main campuses, as requested by the EVS manager and the EVS Supervisor. Cleans rooms after C-Sections and or emergency surgeries that may occur in the late evening and early morning hours. Performs other environmental services responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
