Job summary

SOLID Surface Care, Inc. is hiring a Floor Technician to join our team. You’ll help care for commercial spaces by providing expert floor and surface maintenance including carpet, tile, vinyl, stone and hardwood.

This full-time role on 2nd or 3rd shift includes paid training, and benefits such as vacation pay after 90 days, paid sick time, seven paid holidays, referral bonuses up to $500, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 3–5 years of experience as a floor technician.
• Punctual, team-oriented and dependable.
• Comfortable with physical work (walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• A clean background is required for most client sites.

Responsibilities

• Care for surfaces like carpet, tile, vinyl, stone and hardwood.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards.
• Work as part of a team and travel up to 10% as needed.
