Job summary
Solaris HealthCare Merritt Island is seeking a Floor Tech to join our team. The role involves daily housekeeping tasks, carpet and tile maintenance, and assisting with linen distribution and supply handling in a skilled nursing facility.
The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and may have prior SNF experience. We offer full-time hours with weekend requirements and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance of carpet throughout the building including shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.
- Maintenance of all tile throughout the building including washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.
- Performs housekeeping duties when needed.
- Is responsible for linen distribution at the end of the shift.
- Distributes supplies to each housekeeper at the end of the day.
- Responsible for trash runs during the day from all assigned locations.
- Other duties as assigned

Floor Tech Job Summary:
The floor tech Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Departmental, rules, regulations and procedures, and guidelines. Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
