Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Daytona is seeking a Floor Tech to join our housekeeping team. You will perform daily cleaning and maintenance to keep residents' surroundings safe and comfortable. Responsibilities include carpet care, tile upkeep, linen distribution, and supply handling in a skilled nursing facility.

We offer benefits and a supportive team, with shift differentials based on location and role. Florida AHCA background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of side by side, boost machine, and high-speed buffer.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carpet throughout the building: shampooing, spotting, vacuuming.
• Maintain all tile: washing, waxing, buffing, stripping.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Distribute linen at end of shift and supplies to housekeepers.
• Responsible for trash runs during the day from all assigned locations.
• Other duties as assigned

Floor Tech Job Summary:

The floor tech Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Departmental, rules, regulations and procedures, and guidelines. Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
