Job Summary and Qualifications

The EVS Floor Care Technician performs cleaning duties under EVS management, including:

• Providing cleaning services with consideration for patient dignity.
• Adhering to infection control policies.
• Cleaning patient rooms, non-patient areas, and restrooms.
• Handling chemicals properly and using PPE correctly.
• Maintaining equipment and reporting issues.
• Performing floor cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
• Ensuring safety signage is in place and hazards are reported.

Qualifications include:

• Two years’ experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
