Join to apply for the Floor Tech - Part Time Days role at Orlando Health.

Position Summary

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, walls, windows, stairwells, elevators, automatic door tracks, and baseboards. Tasks include dust mopping, damp mopping, stripping and refinishing, carpet extraction, bonneting, spotting, and vacuuming in both patient and non-patient areas, with an emphasis on first impression areas throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Orlando Health Standards of Behavior and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Clean spills, install/remove curtains, move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Report unsafe equipment and transport broken items for repairs.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and functional.
  • Maintain punctual attendance according to policies.
  • Follow all hospital policies, including safety, SDS, and hand hygiene directives.
  • Perform cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas using the 7-Step cleaning method.
  • Dispose of waste properly.
  • Complete mandatory training and participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain productivity standards and stay updated with policies.
  • Participate in other duties as assigned.
