Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Tech Lead responsible for coordinating activities within the Floor Care Program and auditing areas for sanitation and OSHA compliance. The role includes training staff, tracking equipment and supplies, and reporting on safety and quality metrics.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license and may require forklift certification. Excellent communication and record-keeping skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor work activities within the Floor Care Program.
  • Train and instruct employees in tasks and safety.
  • Prepare written reports (pass down, weekly, monthly).
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Track inventory for equipment and supplies.
  • Report incidents and safety concerns to supervisor.

Floor Tech Lead Job Description

Job Overview: The Floor Care Lead will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Floor Care Program. The individual will inspect and audit areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
  • Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitors work activities
  • Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
  • Track supplies inventory and maintained
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
  • Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediately
  • Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately
  • Maintain records, i.e. training, inspections, attendance and metric data

Education and/ or Experience

No education requirement 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Compensation

$23.00-$27.00 per hour
