Job summary

The role covers routine floor care, event room setups, assisting with resident moves, compliance training, and cooperation with various departments. High school diploma or GED and six months of housekeeping experience required; health/safety training and HIPAA awareness expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of general facility housekeeping with floor care training.
• Good communication and customer service mindset; interest in geriatric care.
• Ability to read and follow directions; problem solving; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care including vacuuming, extracting, spot cleaning, stripping, and refinishing.
• Meet sanitation standards and safely dispose of trash and biohazards.
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings and events as requested.
• Assist residents and families with moving furniture.
• Support office moves and department requests.
• Uphold Salemtowne culture and policies; complete HIPAA training.
• Follow all regulations and privacy/security requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
