Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a Floor Tech/Cleaner to support custodial operations at client campuses in Minnesota and surrounding states. You will sweep, mop, strip and wax floors, shampoo carpets, clean windows and walls, and maintain cleaning equipment to uphold daily facility standards.

Candidates should have physical stamina, a high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina required to perform cleaning duties and handle equipment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from sites.
• Background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.

Job Skills / Requirements

Floor Techs / Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Floor Techs / Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sweep and mop floors
• Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
• Clean or shampoo carpets
• Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Follow workplace safety standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education : High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience : Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
