Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Floor Tech for the 2nd shift at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. The role involves cleaning patient and facility spaces, operating floor machines, and maintaining a clean, safe healthcare environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and prior janitorial or medical cleaning experience is a plus. Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug testing are required. 2nd shift runs 3pm–11:30pm with an hourly pay of $15.00.

• Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dust mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damp mop floors with the proper cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.
• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
